Twelve islands at the edge of Europe.
The island complex of the Dodecanese in the south-eastern Aegean is the sunniest corner of Greece. It consists of 12 larger islands and numerous smaller ones with crystal clear waters, sandy or pebbly beaches, important archaeological finds, imposing Byzantine and medieval monuments, and unique traditional settlements waiting to be discovered. An interesting fact considering this archipelago is that one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, or the Rhodes Colossus has been located on the largest island there.
If you looking for more cosmopolitan and larger islands, we recommend to our guests to stay in our villas in Rhodes and lush Kos. If looking for lesser-known and unspoiled destinations, there is Astypalea, which is a mixture of Cycladic and Dodecanese architecture, and Patmos, a popular island amongst pilgrims.
There is a direct flight from Sofia to Rhodes operated by Bulgaria Air.
